I created this piece during my first quarter at art school and submitted it to the fall art show so that my voice could be expressed. I had a comrade from my time in the military contact me while in distress and wanted to try and capture some of that feeling into a piece to better help myself process it. I learned how to submit a piece into a show and how to put myself away and let an art piece stand on its own.
